In a discussion between AJ Flavel and Spartanicus, The later said.
"Layouts that work well on the desktop and on small screen devices are
single column layouts. Layouts that use more than one column rarely work
properly on a wide range of viewport widths. This also applies to "css"
layouts that use separate "screen" and "handheld" stylesheets due to the
poor support for the handheld media type and it's intrinsic limitations.

Hi,
I'm not sure if we are able to or even how to loop through the web forms in
a VB.NET project during design time. In MSAccess we are able to go through
the database -> forms collection and loop through all the forms in a database
and pull information about the form (controls and properties). We would need
to do the same in our VB.NET project; loop through the project and get the
web form's control and property information...

I am working on a website that is using a Cascading Style Sheet. I've
created the primary webpages and .css page. The format is the same
throughout the entire website EXCEPT the color of the headings and
hyperlinks.
I need to make each site have a different color of those items. How do
I make the changes to each page, but keep the same .CSS?
Any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated!

I want to create a report that will print 4 pages per sheet. All pages have
the same header with their own page number. The 1st sheet would have 4 pages
with numbers 1, 2, 3, 4. The second sheet would start with page number 5, 6,
7, 8 etc. Any idea how I can accomplish this?
Thank

Hi There!
I'm creating several ASCX Controls and those controls will have their own
CSS Style Sheets. But I don't know how I can link the corresponding Style
Sheet in the ASCX file? Because the style sheet can only be linked in the
<head></head> section of an HTML document, right? So ASCX controls does not
have <head> tags so how can I link the style sheets?
Many thanks in advance!

Hi,
I'm developing asp.net (vb) apps in VS.NET 2003, and I'd like to know how
you can write style sheet code in a sub in an .aspx page that when it's
rendered as html/text/css code in the .aspx page.
The idea is to programmatically write style sheet code that dynamically goes
into every page and is rendered accordingly.
Let's assume I wanted this kind of code into my rendered .aspx page

Right now the header of my master page contains all of the CSS styles for
all of the pages that might be loaded in my ContentPlaceHolder. The problem
is that my <styletag is getting too large to manage. I have 300 lines of
styles in my masterpage and I don't need all of this for every page --
somehow this can't be a smart way of managing styles.
How do I programmatically apply styles in my MasterPage based on the
ContentPlaceHolder...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
