Hi,
I have set up an external stylesheet, named "print.css", to format the
style of all pages printed from my company's website. I've been
previewing my changes to the stylesheet by doing File\Print Preview in
IE6 and noticed that occasionally the leftmost button of the
javascript menu (CoolMenus Version 3.02) on our website is printed. (I
have wrapped the javascript that generates this menu in a DIV so that
it is concealed from...

I know this must have been asked elsewhere, but I cannot find it. There is a
piece of text on my web page that I don't want browsers to resize. IE won't
resize it if I specify the size in px, but everything else will. Is there any
way to prevent browsers from resizing text?
If you could just point me to where this has already been answered, that would
be great.

I am trying to print a graphic file (tif) and also use the PrintPreview
control, the PageSetup control, and the Print dialog control. The code
attached is a concatination of two examples taken out of a Microsoft book,
"Visual Basic,Net Step by Step" in Chapter 18.
All but the bottom two subroutines will open a text file, and then allow me
to use the above controls, example 1. The bottom two subroutines will print
a graphic file, example...

I have a club newsletter that is currently distributed as a PDF. I'm
considering converting this to html...
Several problems ensue.
1) PDF's can be formatted for a page to fit on a sheet of 8.5 * 11
paper. I'm not sure how to this in HTML.
2) A PDF can be set to print all pages. I'm not sure how to do this with
html either. Suggesting page breaks (in CSS) and having this as a single

Hi to everyone,
I need to create and print (from within a c# application) a MS Word
document starting from an Access db.
Half of this document must be written and printed in, let's say,
January, then some data will be added to the db and, let's say in
June, a second part must be written and printed on the same sheet of
the first one.
In other words, the second time I print the document only some
specified parts (everytime the same) of it...

Hello, I have a workbook with ~ 20 sheets, all which upload with different data every week. We have some "old school" managers that are still requesting hard copies of each sheet.... problem for me is that the ranges per sheet can change dramatically (I.e. - from (A1:D20) to (C1:Z490).
So far I've tried to create print ranges based on the number of cell functions, and try to print, however the font in some pages can be very small... some...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
