Hi,
For my VB.NET-application I want to indicate in a label the SelectionStart
and the SelectionLength when the user selects some text in a Cell in a
DataGrid.
Does anybody knows in which event I can trap this, and how I can know those
two values?
Thanks a lot in advance,

Hi,
Previously I have this code working in FF 0.9 in a web forum :
bodytext = (document.all) ?
document.selection.createRange().text:document.getSelection();
if (selectedtext.createTextRange) {
selectedtext.caretPos = document.selection.createRange().duplicate();
}
else if (document.postform.body.setSelectionRange){

I have a very ODD situation.
I have a RichTextBox and a button. In the button click event I have the
following:
me.richtextbox1.SelectedText="test"
Assuming I start with "aaaabbbbcccc" in the richtext box and I place the
caret between the a and b and hit the button. I get "aaaatestbbbbcccc" as
expected. Then I click between the b and the c and hit the button I get:

I want the MonthCalendar control to return the single day selected.
I have MaxSelectionCount = 1.
What I get back though is this:
"SelectionRange: Start: 5/5/2005 12:00:00 AM, End: 5/5/2005 12:00:00 AM"
How do I get the single day date?

Hi all,
I am trying to change the color of text that the user sees when they
are editing a richtextbox. This is the code I am using in the
TextChanged method of RichTextBox control.
Dim position As Integer = rtb.SelectionStart
rtb.Refresh()
rtb.SelectionStart = position

I am getting clearly wrong values from TextBox.SelectionStart property
in C# code. For example, if I move caret one character to right by
pressing Keys.Right, sometimes declared SelectionStart property
actually decreases, sometimes it does not change. Difference seems
always at most off by 1 but it is very irritiating.
My setup is as follows:
Textbox txtText, txtCursor;
txtText.ReadOnly = true;

Hello
I've created a .NET 2.0 form and added 6 text boxes, 1 combo box and 2
button controls.
The combo box has a DropDownStyle of DropDown, so the user can still type in
the combo box.
The combo box has the follows values in it's drop down list:
"Dear Sir,"

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
