Hello,
We have a query which returns ~2.8 million rows. This same query is
used in a DTS package, which exports to a text file. The number of
rows in this text file, however, is ~2.7 million rows (I'm rounding of
course.) So a good chunk of data vanished in the export it appears.
Using SQL Server 7.0 on Windows 2000.
Anyone see bugs w/ DTS text exports for very large amounts of data?

Hi there,
When importing a text file using SQL Server, how do I specify the path
to a file on the same remote server that SQL Server is running on? I
tried //c:/filename but that doesn't seem to work.
Also, once the import is working, how do I write a DTS package to
first delete all rows in a table, then repopulate with the text file,
or is it easier to drop the table, re-create it and then repopulate?
The table will contain...

Our production database in an exported textfil runs about 60 MB.
Compressed that's about 9 MB.
I'm trying to import the export into another machine running FC3 and
mySQL 11.18, and it appears as though the file may be too big!
When I try to do it via command line:
mysql -u root --host=localhost printing < ./printing.txt
It eventually errors out with a "syntax error on line X" and only about

I am using this command to import text file:
DoCmd.TransferText acImportDelim, str_SpecName, str_TblName,
str_FileName, False
- The import will always be missing the first line in the text file.
- These text files are coming out of Access.
- The first line is formatted exactly the same and end with the same
CR/LF that the rest of the file has.

Hi!
I have a question..
How can csharp read a text file and execute it in another application? What
I mean is that, Im doing a drawing using Tekla Structures. But instead of
doing the same thing over and over again, I want to create an exe file that
allows it to read a text file and execute it in Tekla Structures. All I can
do now is to copy the contents of that text file and paste it in csharp
editor and run it, therefore I cannot...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
