Non-visual C# objects on a webpage are not marked as "safe for scripting"
I'm developing .NET components in C# which are used as ActiveX-style
controls on web pages that are displayed inside a custom browser which is
based on the IE web browser control. On 3 of about 100 PCs that the controls
have been tried on, the browser produces the following error message:

I am having an issue deploying an ActiveX control. This
is a .NET project in C#. The ActiveX control is written
in VB6. I use the PDW (Package and Deployment Wizard) to
create a .CAB for the control.

controls within the dialog designer (not Winforms!). Both projects are
identical (except for the name) both in project settings and through file

I have an ActiveX control in my web page that I tried to access using
intranet.
I have implemented IObjectSafety in the ActiveX control, and when I created
the CAB file using VB Pakage and Deployment Wizard, under "Safety Settings"
I selected "Yes" for "Safe for Scripting" and "Yes" for "Safe for
Initialization". I also have signed the CAB file.
In IE, the option 'Script ActiveX controls marked Safe for Scripting' is

i need to implement a COM interface or an ActiveX Control (both have the
same features) in a DLL.
Implementing a COM interface seems more complicated than an ActiveX
control.
I already added the COM interface and the ActiveX control respectively
to the project and got the cpp file and/or the header,

An friend insider told me that VB is to be killled off within 18
months. I guess this makes sence now that C# is here. I believe it and
