Is there a way to determine what a user's default email client is? I
read a post from 3 years ago that said no. I guess I'm hoping
something has come along since then.

I have a script that I want to run only when my input box IS NOT
disabled. Can someone tell me if something is wrong with my script? Is
"disabled" the correct property to use?
function TextChanged(i){
if (!document.ScheduleForm.disabled) {
document.ScheduleForm.txtRecordStatus.value = "Changes Made; Record Not
Saved.";
document.ScheduleForm.txtRecordStatus.style.color = "#FF0000";

We are in the process of upgrading part of a large system
to .NET, whilst the majority will remain ASP. Sharing
session state information will not be a problem at the
moment as it is trivial and will be passed in using
QueryString.
More pressing is the synchronisation of session timeouts
between the two environments. Is the only way to do this
to have URL references from one environment to another.
For example on the ASP pages have...

I am dynamically inserting an html <input> tag as text (equivalent of an
image button) into a page via a Literal control.
Something like this gets inserted:
<input type="image" name="MyImageButton" id="MyImageButton"
src="somePic.jpg" />
I want for the code-behind to "know" when the user clicked on the image -
but I don't want to also have to dynamically specify a delegate for an event
procedure to handle this control which is really...

Problem with sessions
I have created an application without concern for sessions. As it turns out
I think that might be my undoing.
What I have:
I have an online quiz.
I don’t need to know users or save any data. If the application crashes or
user exits the program they should simply start again. Pretty basic.
All interactions are stored in an array (not much going on to save to a

I thought I could run docmd.SetWarnings in the
immediate window with no argument and A97
would return True or False, depending on the
current setting. I was wrong.
Anybody know how to make the determination
in the immediate window?

Access 97 does not provide a means of reading the
most recent setting for SetWarnings Method. For
example, if you had CBF that called a procedure in
a global module and the following statement was
executed:
DoCmd.SetWarnings False
Then you would not be able to take peek at the
setting when processing returned to the calling

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
