Hi I am trying to learn Visual Basic and I am getting everything for the most part, mainly because of my ability to read code like a book, but my question is what is the best way to Navigate through a Visual Basic program.
For example lets say I have a big Visual Basic Form1.vb and on Form1.vb there are buttons and I click on this button, now the only thing I want to change would be a "content" area, I want the navigation to be the same.
Do I load a new form and make it look exactly like the other one or is their an easy way to change just the contents of the "content" area? I have been looking at Panels for this, is this the right way to go?
Any help would be very much appreciated.

You may be referring to visual inheritance where you have one form and derive other forms from it.

Thanks that is what I was looking for unfortunately I should have specified it is Visual basic 2005 Express Edition so a couple of things in that article were different. It did however get me to looking around a lot more and I did find a template I could use. Thank you very much!

Your original approach is good, then.
An idea would be to have two panel objects.
One docked at the bottom to host the buttons.
Another filling the rest of the form.
You can even have panels inside panels. Endless possibilities.

How about creatinglabels and when u click the botton it sets all other labels to hidden and only enables the 1 u want...
Actually I did something similar with Panels, I saw a tutorial on VBDudes.com about it and is actually working out pretty well.
