I am trying to launch an .mdb file via javascript. I do not need to
do anything but open the application. It is able to open the
application but for some reason it opens and then closes. At first I
thought it may be a permission problem as far as writing the .ldb file
to disk, but I added every single user and gave them write permissions
to the folder and there is still no change.
Has anyone been able to get this to work?

I have a closed box system which opens an html page. The page closes by the
system. I have access to the html page. I added code to open a child window
from this page. However when the parent window closes, the child closes
too. Is there a way to keep the child window open? Yes keep it orphaned.

Does anyone know how to use VBA to relink tables between two MS Access
databases? We have two databases, one with VBA code and the other with
data tables. The tables are referenced by linked tables in the database
where the code resides. If we move the database with the data tables to
a new directory, the links are no longer valid.
I tried to update the links by changing the Connect property and refreshing:
Set td = db.TableDefs(0)...

Hey all,
I have a web application which loads a wizard (another smaller form to
get user info). As soon as the wizard completes, I need to have the
original page from which the wizard was called from redirect to a new
page based on the users input.
I've tried using a seperate thread and a lock to wait until the wizard
finishes, but I cannot do a Response.Redirect() from the second
thread.

I have a vb.net app that opens an excel worksheet, reads data and then closes
the sheet. Im noticing that the Excel process is still running after I have
closed and disposed of my excel objects.
The following code (Test1) demonstrates the essence of what I am doing.
