combinding many csv or xls files into one worksheet in Excel

1 New Member
Hi guys,

I am attempting to combind several (about 50) text comma seperated value files and have them show up on one singe Excel worksheet. I wrote a macro that created a new sheet for each .csv file but I can not figure out how to get them all on the same sheet.

Does any one have any ideas on how to go about this?

Thanks

Strayrog.

Everything works fine in Access, but when I double-click on the resultant Excel files the first one opens correctly, but subsequent ones, and any other Excel files I try to open, fail to display at all; I get the Excel window frame with corrupted contents. The only way I can get decent functionality from Excel is to open Excel from the Start menu, open each of these new files from the Excel File menu, and save each one. Thereafter Excel...

I have been tasked with producing a server application that will convert excel files to html. I have no experience of developing under Windows, (but plenty of UNIX/C++ experience) but I picked up a copy of Visual Studio .Net and managed to produce the attached C# code expecting it to save each worksheet as a separate html file. Unfortunately I just end up with multiple copies of the entire workbook. Can anyone explain why this isn't...

What I would like to do is by clicking a Button in an ASPX page, I want the data existing in 'Sheet1' to automatically get copied in 'Sheet2' in 'Procs.xls'. Can someone please give me some idea on how do I go about it?

Hi all - having a bit of problem with this code. It works in one of the databases that I have but not the one I'm currently working with...I've compared references and they're both the same: When trying to get the last column of data from each worksheet in my Excel file, it's giving me the last column as "c" when it should be "AH" or "AI,' depending on which worksheet it's on. On one worksheet, it's giving me "]" and there is no "]" anywhere...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
