Hi. You are asking a lot. You will need to lookup ADO connections and recordsets. Also you will need to learn about SQL statements.

http://www.ncsa.uiuc.edu/Divisions/Admin/reimb.asp There is just too much code to place here. onChange you trigger a function to add the numbers in the the column you entered an amount in (scripts have been made for only the first 2 columns). The information is passed to a second function that adds all the numbers in the row you are in and puts a total at the end. This part works great unless you place an "8", "88", "888", etc. in the...

I have a form at http://www.develop.check.com.au/hh/order.html where an extended sub-total and then a grand total is calculated as soon as a quantity is input by a user. I would like to be able to add the shipping cost to that grand total. Shipping costs are in the "Postage & handling charges" link and are a cost per box. If somebody selects "USA, Canada, Middle East" from the drop down box it should recalculate the shipping cost,...

I'm trying to calculate the subtotal for each item the customer has in the shopping cart. objDataReader("decPrice") is the price from my database field called decPrice. The .8 is for a 20% discount. The error I get is: Compiler Error Message: BC30201: Expression expected. What is the correct syntax for this operation? When I check the compiler output there is a ~ underneath the &. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have what I hope is a simple question for some of you. I have two fields. Quantity and Price. I enter a text box named SubTotal in the detail of the report and set the control source to =*. This works fine and I have all the correct values in the detail of the report. Now at the bottom of my report I want a total. I insert a text box in the report footer named Total and set the control source to =sum(). This does not work. I get...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
