1 New Member
Using VB, is there any way to manipulate print jobs? I mean, combine print jobs, change the order of the jobs and so forth?

Thanks

I'm needing to get X number of files (.txt,.doc,.xls,.tiff,.pdf) into a single Print Job. The idea here is that a user searches for criteria in a system and then builds a batch of documents that need to be printed together (so that no one else on the network can slip in anything until this job completes). Any suggestions would be very very much appreciated. I'm at my wits end on this one!!

I have a C# application that uses PrintDocument and PrintPage to draw reports. Now I need to integrate a tax form printing from a legacy VC++ DLL into the C# application. One of the important requirements is that the printing of the reports (implemented by C#) and the tax form (implemented by VC++) to be on the same print job. For example, if there are 10 clients we need to print the reports and tax form for, then 10 print jobs will be...

Here's a simple question: how do I download or print out the entire documentation (or a large chunk) in readable format (doc or pdf)? It's not of much use to me if I have to go to every separate html page and print page-by-page. Is there a utility to do this, or is it on a separate website? e.g. how to download as one file the entire C# Programmer's Reference:...

I want users to be able to select a picture on an ASP.NET webform and have the picture print from one of the server's printers that is installed in windows. I used code that worked in a windows standalone app and it gave no error, but did not print either. How should I go about setting this up? Here is my code I have tried: private void buttonPrint_Click(object sender, System.EventArgs e) { PrintDocument pd = new PrintDocument();

I need to select one of about 15 printers, which I have been able to do. Then I need to set that printer as the printer to use, run a Crystal Reports reports, and track if/when the printing job completes. Is there a book or article that can help me? If it is fairly easy, can anyone sen me some code that will get me started. TIA,

Print jobs are not deleting from print queue after completion. This problem is on a peer-to-peer network of four computers and one printer. Windows 2000 with Service Pack 2 is the operating system. The print jobs, which display in the queue as "Printed", can be manually removed. Is there a configuration setting that dictates whether or not print jobs remain in the print queue? I am not experienced with networks and print queue...

My Brother printer receives two of the same print jobs when I click PRINT - however, the first job says it is deleting, but it never does and stops printer printing. This happens on WORD. To print, I have to reboot, start again, and then it only prints one doc before it returns to the deleting message and jams. Help! -- Jock Kennedy

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
