Cell/sheet reference searching

I'm using VBA for Excel and would like to do the following:

1) in sheet1, search for a value which is given in a specific cell location
on sheet2.

2) when i find that value in sheet1, i want to insert in the cell
immediately to the right of the active cell a formula which includes a
reference to a fixed cell location from sheet2

3) then i want to do the same search again in sheet1, this time using the
cell immediately below the cell in sheet2 used in the first search.

4) i want to continue this pattern until the cell on sheet2 below the one
used for the previous search is empty.

Thanks in advance for any help.

In Access(97) I am able to have a cell to be a hyperlink referencing a spreadsheet, a cell, a column or a database's table or query. When I click on it It opens on such reference program. The content of such cell is not the content of the reference but a 'display text' value that I assign. Since the database does not see the referenced value it can not be used as a query value. My question is is there a way to have a visible cell...

Hello, this is a VBA query relating to Microsoft Excel 2007. I am trying to run a macro that copies the current sheet and deletes some of the content to provide a new blank sheet. Ideally I want this to use a value that is shown in a cell within the new sheet. I had tried to acheive this by copying the cells contents and then pasting as a value within a macro, however this worked on the first sheet but the second time I ran the macro, the...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
