I'm trying to select, with the mouse, a cell within a flexgrid that I've
created, and copying the contents of that cell to the clipboard. I've tried
using the Mousecol and Mouserow properties to return the cell col and row
index, but It doesn't seem to RETURN the cell ID but needs an argument
identifying, seemingly the col and row repectively. Here's the test routine
I set up just to see how the mousecol property worked but it genterates...

Hi,
another question: What's the most efficient way of copying data between
two file-like objects?
f1.write(f2.read()) doesn't seem to me as efficient as it might be, as a
string containing all the contents of f2 will be created and thrown away.
In the case of two StringIO objects, this means there's a point when the
contents is held in memory three times.

Ok, I'm quite a newbie, so this question may appear silly. I'm using
g++ 3.3.x.
I had been taught that an array isn't a lot different from a pointer
(in fact you can use the pointer arithmetics to "browse" it). So I
expected that when I run this program, I get both c1.A and c2.A
pointing to the same address, and changing c1.A means that also c2.A
changes too.

Hi everybody - hope you can help out here.
I have a form in a database, which is a columnar form from one of the tables
in the db - there is a sub-form to the form which is a datasheet view of
another table in the db. The LinkChilds property is set to show connected
records from both tables.
What I'd like to do is copy and paste, or use some other method of writing,
the contents of one field in one table in the form, to a field in the...

I have an Access97 application whose form contains many text boxes.
What do I have to do in order to copy the contents of one of these text
boxes to the clipboard? I want to do this so I can then paste from the
clipboard to Word, Notepad, etc.
I know about the SetClipboardData function, but I really can't figure
out how it works. It's supposed to be used in conjunction with the
OpenClipboard function, I think.
If anybody knows,...

Hi all!
Can anyone show me how to use javascript to populate shipping address
form fields with pre-typed payment address details upon checking of a
checkbox next to the obligatory text "click here if the shipping
address is the same as the billling address"? I've looked everywhere
for it but surprizingly have had no luck!

Hello,
I tried to clear a vector "v" using "v.clear()". If "v" contains
those objects that are non-built-in (e.g. string), then "clear()" can
indeed remove all contents. However, if "v" contains built-in types
(e.g. int), then "clear()" doesn't remove anything at all. Why does
"clear()" have this behaviour?
Also, when I copy one vector "v1" from another vector "v2", with "v1"
longer than "v2" (e.g. "v1" has 2 elements and "v2" has...

Hi there,
Is there any method or a way to copy a form object to a variable?
Let me explain this - We have a method called "Copy" for the Dataset class & you all must be knowing that there is a difference between the below two lines of code:
DsTemp = Ds
DsTemp = Ds.Copy()
In the first line of code, any changes made to Ds will reflect in DsTemp. However,...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
