Build files for Windows app

Roy
Hi all,

I've modified few files and need to send them to a person who is testing the
application. Beside the modified files what files I need to send to him,
since he doesn't have .NET Studio to build the application.
Thanks in advance,

Roy

Roy,

Just deploy it using the setup and deployment project.

You add that to your project an setup and deployment project and choose for
that the setup wizard.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...etupWizard.asp

With some luck you are than ready and need only the builded msi file.

Although the shortcuts are than not set, so that you have to do in the
deployment project or when it is just for testing do that from the library
where the exe is.

Setting those shortcuts is rightclicking in the projectfolder make them and
than drag them to the start and desktop folders left.

I hope this helps,

Cor

I think you can just send him a copy of the files in the bin directory and he
can copy them to any directory and run the .exe. That is unless you have
strongly typed and registered dll's then I am not sure how to do this.
