Hi All,
My session_start in the global.asa is called more than
once. If I just go to the default page and refresh it is
called every time I refresh. From the default page it is
called once when I move to any other page. After that
all is fine.
I have debugged the session_start and it does, indeed,
create a new session id and none of the session variables

more than one instance running at the same time.
Thanks.

BACKGROUND
I have the following classes as part of a program that opens 3 Asynchronous
Sockets. Each socket is in a separate instance of a wrapping class.
1x User Interface class
1x Client Manager class
3x Client class Instances
The Client class raises events when the client connects.
The User interface has registered with that event.

Hi.
I'm write a "passthru" application which is reading from one socket
and writing to a pool of outcoming sockets. From time to time I have
date duplicated in the socket and when I debug the function below,
using step by step, I find that printf("LINE 1\n"); executes more than
once every time I hit F10 (Visual C++). I never saw something like
that.
Very weird!!!!!!!!!!!
unsigned __stdcall inWriteIncomingSocket(void* data) {

Hi there,
I've tried hunting for this in the C# specs but can't find the relevant
info. Does anyone know what the official rule says (or doesn't say) about
removing an event more than once. If you apply "+=" to assign an event for
instance, can you safely apply "-=" more than once or is this implementation
dependent (and possibly dangerous). Thanks very much

Here is the problem, I am working with a bunch of old code so I can
really restructure the includes, otherwise I guess I could change all
the #include statements to #include-once.
Anyway, If I have a file with a class like this:
Class myClass
end class
I get a "name redefined" error. I've been seeing these and indeed from

Hello!
I want to use the Application Begin Request to store some global values in the context each time a page loads but the begin request event fires more than once?
I have a master page with a few content panels and quite a few user controls.
Is it normal for the event to fire more than once? Or should it only fire when the page loads?
Can some one explain to me exactly how this event should work?

ONU (Optical Network Unit) is one of the key components for providing high-speed Internet services. Its primary function is to act as an endpoint device located at the user's premises. Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
