Strange request, but does anyone know of a conrol which is an analogue clock
face. I don't want it to work like a clock, I just want to be able to grab
the hands and set an alarm time for use in my program. Obviously I need to
be able to read the time that it is set to.
Any ideas?

It's possible with GDI+.
You can check these out till you find a working one: http://69.10.233.10/KB/vb/Analog_Clock.aspx http://www.codeproject.com/KB/GDI-plus/vbclock.aspx https://secure.codeproject.com/KB/GD...alogclock.aspx
Hope these help,
Onur Güzel
Thanks Onur. As far as I can tell you can not change the time by simply
grabbing the hands on any of these examples. Also I don't want it to behave
like a clock. I just want a convenient way of setting a start/stop time.
-Jerry
Looks to be cheap too.
$79.00 for all the controls. http://www.purecomponents.com/products/Clock.aspx
I have never used these controls though.

You are right - that looks to be part of the whole 79 bux.
Jerry - take a look at the two links supplied by Phillip from the
purecomponents. The one I supplied is just the clock image from there.

On the same site the DateTimePicker http://www.purecomponents.com/produc...imePicker.aspx
..or the TimePicker http://www.purecomponents.com/products/TimePicker.aspx
could be exactly what is needed.

I'm using the function clock() to measure the run time of a program so that
I can compare among several different algorithms. My code looks like:
#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
#include <assert.h>
#include <time.h>
int main() {
clock_t start, stop;

Hello everyone,
I have created a custom component and one of its properties is a class
object with it's own properties. During runtime, I can assign values to the
class object properties just fine. However, when attempting to assing
default values as designtime in the propertygrid, nothing is working on the
class object. I know that I am doing it wrong, any ideas what it is?
Thanks in advance

The following experiment is a demonstration of TIME TRAVEL. When
writing this program, and testing it out I found that sometimes the
program would engage itself in time travel but other times it would
not. After careful testing and reprogramming I have optimized the code
so it should work every time, however I recommend that you leave the
room while it is running and think of something else. It takes about 5
minuets to run so it is...

Any body know a neat trick to put a analog clock on a form that would be
updated by a timer?
Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the
Western Spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun.
Orbiting this at a distance of roughly ninety-eight million miles is an
utterly insignificant little blue-green planet whose ape-descended life
forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital...

Does clock_t clock() measure real time or process time? Unless I have
missed something, Stroustrup's treatment in TC++PL (section D.4.4.1) is
none too clear on that question.
Is clock() well-implemented for the major compilers g++, VC++, and
Macintosh compilers and other C++ compilers on Linux/Unix, Windows, and
MacOS?

This whole thing started when I wanted to display list items in a circle...it just looked way too much like a clock. So for fun I started to create a JavaScript Analog clock.
I was wondering how to draw a line using JavaScript. Everything I've found so far seems to use some JavaScript library....is there an easier way to do this?
Here's what I have so far. I know the clock is Side Ways....but when I try to change the angle so that 12 is at...
