VS 2008 does not show "Start Page" in full screen mode.

We recently upgraded to VS 2008 and for some reason, the environment
does not show "Start Page" in full screen mode even when setting in
Environment -Startup is set to "Show Start Page". It does show Start
Page in normal mode but not in full screen mode. Does anyone happen to
notice similar issue and able to fix it?

Thanks,
Hetal.

I have a Mobile Pocket PC app written in .NET, I notice that Explorer and other programs, when running, show up on the Start menu right below Start and right above Today in a list of icons on that line. My .NET app doesn't show up automatically, so I am wondering how I can get it to show up in that quick pick list (my term) area.

A couple of days ago there was a thread "Returning the machine epsilon". The responses in that thread suggested using Double.Epsilon or Single.Epsilon. Since both these seem to return zero I thought I would try to compute these epsilons myself. Using the following program fragment: =================================== private void button4_Click(object sender, System.EventArgs e) { float a; float f= 1.0f;

Hi all, I am implementing a "Print this Page" function in my ASP.NET application. This function should print a part of the page and I would like to use an MSDN Style "Print this Page". I'm going to explain what I would like to do. Clicking on the print button I would like to show immediately the print dialog without open a new window with the text formatted for printing.

I'm not sure if this can even be done, but what prompts the question is my desire to be able to create an "Uber Link" script/code of some sort, such that even if the html page contains nothing but a background image -or- a background color -- in other words, the page has neither content nor placed images -- any click, ANYWHERE, will launch the URL in your browser. I realize I can make traditional text links and graphics links; what I'm...

I have a series of custom controls developed under ASP.NET 1.1, and I've successfully migrated to ASP.NET 2.0. I have also developed a custom class dervied from System.Web.UI.Page, called qbo.Web.Page. All of these controls compile and run correctly under ASP.NET 2.0. However, several of these controls throw an error in the design mode of VS.NET 2005. Specifically, controls that include a property override of Page (to cast as a...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
