My enterprise is a Registered Microsoft Partner and we would to acquire a
MSDN Universal subscription under the Empower ISV Program to start a new
project in .Net (today we dev under VFP 7).
However, we have no one information about the migration of this MSDN
Universal subscription under ISV Program to the new MSDN Premium
subscriptions. All information about the upgrade subscription is about a
non-promotional original subscription.

I have a problem when using Replication Center on version 8.2 (fixpack 9)
when I try to manage my SQL Replication environment. When I add existing
Apply Control Servers I am not able to see existing subscription sets on
that Apply Server. The apply program works fine however and data are
replicated from the source without problems. My 'problem' is that I cannot
see old subscription sets from within the Replication Center. If I define a
new...

Hello,
I'm using an access db for a site that I want to make subscription. The
subscription will be by the month and auto recurring if the member wants it
to or expire after the month is up.
I have the database set so the public can enter and view the pages but some
activity on th epages is restricted. In the database interactivity is
determined by a field called "MemberStatus". If it is set to 1 then they
have complete access, if set...

Has anybody had any luck with coding to the Bloomberg API in C#? I have
tracked down sufficient code to return data synchronously i.e.
subscribe a ticker and fields and return one set of results, but have
had no luck in getting asynchronous reults to fire off the data event
i.e. subscribe a ticker and fields and return results every time the
fields change.
Bloomberg do not support .net and I have been on the waiting list to
get involved...

Any help would be appreciated!

Hello,
Sorry for the repost, I haven’t got any response in aspnet.webservices group.
We have a web service being used by several clients. It's SSL secured, uses
Windows (Basic) Authentication, each client has its own login. The management
wants to expend it to other clients, but provide "subscription based"
service. Where one pays a monthly fee to use it.
Now, I suggested using existing infrastructure Basic Authentication, just...

Hi,
I've been recently trying to set up a replicated environment. The
problem is my database has over 500 tables (complicated business
domain), with many foreign keys. At first I had problems with
performing full refreshes of the tables (initial step taken by apply) -
the references between tables were totally ignored and the whole
process failed.
I've read that it is possible to bypass the full refresh (some tricky

Hi,
I am very new to .NET Remoting and I try to run a simple program to
subscribe to an event raised by Remoting Class. The Remoting Server
initiates an instance of Remoting Class as Singleton / Server
activated mode on startup. The Remoting Client accesses the Remoting
Class through the interface of the Class and subscribes to an event
of
the Remoting Class that will be fired upon the private member value
change.

I have a MSDN Subscription expiring this month but really need Visual Studio
2008 when it comes out. I called customer service to find out but they don't
know. They seemed to think it was a possibility but couldn't say for sure.
Does anyone know if Visual Studio 2008 will come with the MSDN subscription
or would it be better to let the subscription expire and buy Visual Studio
2008 when it comes out?
Seems like the type of question that...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
