New MSDN Subscription and Partner Members

My enterprise is a Registered Microsoft Partner and we would to acquire a
MSDN Universal subscription under the Empower ISV Program to start a new
project in .Net (today we dev under VFP 7).

However, we have no one information about the migration of this MSDN
Universal subscription under ISV Program to the new MSDN Premium
subscriptions. All information about the upgrade subscription is about a
non-promotional original subscription.

Anyone have any info about that question?

Thanks,

Max

We are in the Empower ISV program. Once you have entered the program you
will receive a universal subscription 'and' once provided with access to
MSDN Subscriber Downloads Empoer ISV members qualify for a free subscription
to MSDN Magazine. No need to upgrade or transfer your existing
subscriptions. If you have more questions contact me and I'll send you one
of Microsoft's Empower ISV manager's e-mail address so you can ask him
questions I could not or perhaps should not answer.

Hi, Clinton...

My question is about the VS 2005 and the new upgrade of the MSDN
Subscriptions.. . if you look at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/howtobuy/vs2005/subscribe/ you will see that the
MSDN Universal Subscription acquired by ISV Program has no policy upgrade
defined:

"Transition options for MSDN Universal and MSDN Enterprise subscriptions
acquired through special programs (e.g. Partner Programs, Academic Programs,
etc.) will be communicated through respective program communications. "

I invited you to contact me and I would send you the name and e-mail address
of an Empower ISV representative who can help answer your questions. I don't
mind helping out but you'll have to send me a real e-mail address to reply
to because I won't be putting my contact's name out into the public domain.

Hi, I want to download Visual Studio 2005 Beta 1 Refresh, but on the site of Microsoft they say it is only for MSDN subscribers? what is a MSDN subscriber and how do I get it? When I try to "Add Passport" on there site, they ask me my "Subscription or Membership ID'... how do I get these? I do have a legal version of VS.NET 2003 and MSDN, so I pressume I should have what they need there?

I got my MSDN subscription ID throught EMail. MS didn't send me any card or paper. Now I lost that email with the id on it. The only thing I have now is the .NET passport associated to that subscription. Is there any way to get back my subscription id easily? I know it's the Wrong place to ask, but no choice.

I am just curious if others are annoyed with Microsoft's new subscription model? I recently upgraded my MSDN Universal expecting that would allow me to get the latest 2005 version when it comes out. Well, it does upgrade, but I have to choose an option: Team Architect, Team Developer or Team Test. Why doesn't Universal which by it's very name implies everything not include all of these variants? Why do we have all these variants? What...

To Microsoft and fellow MSDN Universal subscribers... Regarding new MSDN Universal (I mean Premier) price and level changes: 1) Way too expensive for the small and medium developer Universal subscriber (and some large ones as well). $10,000 - $15,000 per user?!? Forget it! 2) Do you (MS) honestly believe that the market you are targeting will just buy this product on good faith? Without our recommendations? Think about

I have a MSDN Subscription expiring this month but really need Visual Studio 2008 when it comes out. I called customer service to find out but they don't know. They seemed to think it was a possibility but couldn't say for sure. Does anyone know if Visual Studio 2008 will come with the MSDN subscription or would it be better to let the subscription expire and buy Visual Studio 2008 when it comes out? Seems like the type of question that...

I have an expired MSDN subscription and need to install some software (Server 2003 and VS) from it that requires a product key. Despite the FAQ explicitly stating that I can use the software after the subscription has expired there seems to be no way of getting a product key without a subscription. Any Ideas? Guy

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers.
