How would I calculate standard deviation of a csv file? Any code
examples would be great!

Hi,
Code for this is fairly straight forward (naturally, you have to read the
CSV file into some sort of structure, the do the arithmetic); any Statistics
book, or Wikapedia, with give you the actual steps that you can translate
into code. However, there is a free library that you might want to look at: http://www.dewresearch.com/downloads-vs.html
There probably are others -- this is one that I have seen.

There are a couple .NET math libraries out there.
Also take a look at "FileHelper s Library". It's an open source text file

This probably isn't the right group for this kind of question but I figured
I would take a shot...
I want to remove points that skew a scatter plot. For example 20 data points
are around -75 to 100 on the Y axis but a couple of points are at 1500 and a
couple at -500
How would I figure which points should be removed? Of course I want to
remove the 1500's and -500's.

(sdev(1,2,3,4,5,etc...)). But I'm unable to find a suitable alternative for
vb.net
I'm assuming it's there somewhere. Can someone tell me the how to call

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
