how to minimize the vb dot net application runninng in remote desk

Our requirement is to run the vb dot net application in minimize mode with
system tray icon in the remote machine (remote desktop).

When we running in the remote desktop window is showing in normal mode
without minimize mode.

when we running in the console mode our application window is minimized
without any issues, when we executed the same in the remote desktop
application window is not minimized.

Please advise is there any solution to minimize the application window in
remote desktop.

Hi to all, I have a little asp.net website which works great on the local machine but I cannot seem to access it from a remote machine. It is not a connection problem because my remote machine (which is on the network) has a share on the local machine using name resolution. The message I get on the remote machine's explorer is the classic "Page cannot be displayed". It seems I have looked every where on the net for possibilites without...

All I had posted this in the remote assistance group and could not get any replies so I thought that I could try in the developer group Thanks One of the issues we face when helping our remote workers is that they are (9 out of 10 times) behind a router. So when they initiate a Remote assistance call they always do so via email and then our Help desk folk manually alter the file using notepad withe correct IP address and also default...

I cannot seem to find the VBA code that will minimize the whole Access apllication. The instruction... "Application.DoCmd.Minimize" seems to only minimize the active screen. What I need is a VBA code equivalent of the action when you click the minimize ("-") button at the very top right of the Access screen. Any help is greatly appreciated. TC

Hi, My VC++ application does not have a titlebar (and therefore no System menu, no minimize, no maximize and no close button). We have a custom button for minimize and close. When the app is in normal/maximized view, clickinng on the taskbar entry does not minimize the application. Normally (with apps with titlebar), the application would minimize when you click on

When I test the remote access at work (lapttop computer to desk top computer) the connection works fine. When I bring the laptop home and try to connect to my desktop I get the error msg: The client could not connect to the remote computer. Remote connections might not be enabled or the computer might be too busy to accept new connections. It is also possible that network problems are preventing your connection. Please try your connection...

Now, every console program instance will open a command mode window and they occupy the whole screen. I want to minimize all of them and maximize it if neccessary by manual. Is it possible and how to do it? I'm using VB.NET 2005. ...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
