Hi all,
I've created XML documents that are described with a schema. I'm using those
documents to create web pages.
All my web pages contain a fixed header and a variable document part. The
header is the same in each page and is described in an XML document,
"Head.xml". The document part, which is variable in content, is described in
other XML files (e.g. "Document.xml", "Product.xml", "Register.xml").

BUT, I discovered that someone has been mis-speling foo as foop in the

I'm a newbie who needs advice about how to use external files of JavaScript
code. I spent an hour this afternoon browsing through JavaScript books at
the local book store. In about 15 different titles, I found a total of about
five pages that covered js files. For all practical purposes, these pages
said, "You can use js files. But we won't tell you how."
Therefore, I hope someone can answer a few questions about js files...

Hopefully someone can help,
I have a listview box where I display my desired files. I single click on
the desired file to be renamed and I rename it with a new name. My problem
arises when the new name gets displayed through refreshing of my loop and
display function. The problem is that when, if I rename the last file entry,
everything appears to display fine. If I rename a file above the last entry
(bottom entry), two of the new file...

Is there a library that supports Java-like .properties files? I have
several settings for each of my classes. So, I want to have a file like
this:
MainClass.numOfLoops = 3232 # the number of loops
MainClass.version = 0.95
OtherClass.readDirectory = /etc/passwd
OtherClass.whatever = true
The library should read and parse this and provide the values in a

Hi,
I hope someone can please help me. I'm having a lot of trouble with
schema files in .NET. I have produced a very simple example that uses
"include" to include other schema files. It all works with SPY, but
when I pick "Validate Schema" from the .NET 2003 menu, it fails with
message:
"Type XType is not declared." As I hinted at in my subject line, I
suspect that it has to do with including another schema multiple times.

I want to simulate with .Net what I used to do with classic ASP where you
would have a series of include files with utility functions that you would
include when you needed them.
I read some article about creating a utility class, but it gave no details,
and I'm not sure what to do. Do I create a .cs file and then just include
it? What should the class inherit from? And how do you inherit more than one
class on your page in...

I have a simple application built with several DLLs that access XML files for
information. My local setup works just fine. As defined in my Install
folder, the files are copied to the "application folder" and the DLLs find
them just fine.
However, when I publish the same application to a local server for users to
use the "click once" install feature, my XML, XMS files are NOT copied to the
local machine's application folder. All other...

You may be wondering why you would want to put your files “into” the database, rather than just onto the file-system. Well, most of the time, you wouldn’t.
In situations where your PHP application needs to store entire files, the preferred method is to save the file onto the server’s file-system, and store the physical location of the file in your database. This is generally considered to be the easiest and fastest way to store files.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
