I have two(2) issues.
I'm experiencing a little difficulty and having to resort to a work around.
I already found one bug, although stated the bug was only in ODBC, which I'm
not using. It appears to be in the OLEDB driver also.
My connection was:

Could you please help me with three problems:

I would like to have a procedure that returned true if the file is
writtable=deletable.. I tried everything but so far the only way I can
really tell if the file can be delete is to actually try to delete it and
catch an exception.. Trying to open a file with StreamReader in write mode

1. I want to be able to drag and drop a file or a shortcut from a folder
(from outside the app) and drop it on the apps form.
2. From this I need to examine said file or shortcuts properties.
point 1 is the particularly tricky bit.
point 2 I think I might be ok with (although not sure if examining a
shortcuts properties would be the same as a file)

Hello everyone,
I am trying to create an application that utilizes a SQL
Mobile database. I have included that database in my main project, and
it compiles and debugs just fine.
I then created a custom installer project packaged as a class
library and made an installer project to wrap the whole thing up into
an MSI package. Basically the idea behind doing all this is so the
handheld app can be pushed out through group policy.

Years ago I wrote a program to read .lnk files, modify the data and rewrite
the file.
I modified it slightly and used it for .pif files.
I can't find it nor can I find the API calls I used.
Can you direct me to some info on this subject?

I've been asked to write a sort of "desktop clean-up" utility.
Requirements are simple: iterate through the shortcuts (*.lnk files) on the
currently logged-on user's desktop, and delete each link whose TargetPath
property no longer exists.
Iterating through the shortcuts on the desktop is easy enough using
Directory.GetFiles(*.lnk)
