hi
i'm having a problem with the customize a shortcut menu. i read the ms
office assistance: customize a shortcut menu/delete a command or add
to a shortcut menu and followed the simple directions. i tried both
but for some reason i cannot delete the categories called "filter",
"form", etc. eventually i would like to add commands to the "custom"
category, ie commands "filter by form, "filter for:" and "filter by
excluding" options and...

I have a project I'm working on that is in part a file manager. I would like
to be able to drag either a file, a shortcut, or an Internet shortcut over
any kind of control in Access, and read the file path or the shortcut

There seems to be two ways to put things on the clipboard ( I don't mean
different formats): SetClipboardData and OleSetClipboard
If I want to get data off the clipboard do I care how it was put there?
What about Drag/Drop; is there more than one way for the source to make data
available

I have an application that parses a file and creates a new
one based on the contents of the original file.
What do I need to do so that a user could drag the source
file from Windows Explorer and drop it onto a desktop
shortcut icon of my .exe and have it execute ?

I'm trying to create a file using drag and drop.
I want to be able to select a listview item drag it to the shell and create a file.
Each icon in the listview represents a blob in a database.
When I drop onto the shell I want a file created with a specified name containing the data from the database.
I've looked at the FileDrop format but it look to have only the filename and not the data.

Hello everyone,
I am trying to create an application that utilizes a SQL
Mobile database. I have included that database in my main project, and
it compiles and debugs just fine.
I then created a custom installer project packaged as a class
library and made an installer project to wrap the whole thing up into
an MSI package. Basically the idea behind doing all this is so the
handheld app can be pushed out through group policy.

I need a right-click menu on a form list control with combobox
controls.
I used View->Toolbars->Customize to create a toolbar.
I added ComboBox through commands tab.
I set properties to Popup making it a shortcut menu.
I have no problem linking it to the list control.
The menu comes up when I right-click the list control.

Hi Im using a drag n drop to Treeview. Its great for file drop, or link
drop, and temporarily for shortcut url drop (as long as the shortcut is
not removed), but I want to parse for ".url" in the file dropped
properties and action url storeage accordingly eg the dropped shortcut
url should be able to be deleted from source after the treeview has
stored the url in its 'favourites'

Hi all,
This is slightly OT but it drives me nuts. Whenever I create a
shortcut in the start menu (in Windows) of a python script, it will
only execute it when the path where the script resides in contains no
spaces. For example;
d:\src\app\app.py
If I drag that to the Start Menu it can be executed fine.
