I'm thinking this is simple, but...
I added an Edit/Update/Cancel column to a DataGrid. Any time I hit the
edit/Update/Cancel button the grid returns blank (no rows returned but the
header and footer).
My EditCommand code looks like this (pretty simple):
DataGrid2.EditItemIndex = e.Item.ItemIndex;
DataGrid2.SelectedIndex = e.Item.ItemIndex;

Hello all,
I am doing my web-based reporting tool in ASP.Net 2.0 using Visual Web
Developer 2005.
I try to export my populated gridview to Excel spreadsheet but what I got is
just a blank spreadsheet with only <div></div> tag in the first cell.

this might sound stupid, but I got a really nice homepage template
which unfortunately is a 3-Column Fixed Width CSS format. Now I don't
have any content for the right column and would like the middle column
just to use up that space instead.

I have a gridview that has a blank row with 2 input fields: file to upload, and a description of the file. They click Add and a new row is added, Remove and the row is removed.
The problem is:
When a new row is added, I loop through the existing gridview rows, store the data in a dataset, and rebind. In debug mode, I see the values I entered but when I rebind, it's not displayed in the gridview.
