Hi - I have set-up security for my users - the security is held in a
text field, separated by a comma.
If the users a member of groups 1, 5 and 6 - the usergroups field is set
to 1,5,6 - to check if they are allowed access to the books, I need to
check each of these numbers (by using split,"," and building a SQL
statement - this needs to check against the membergroups of each book
title - which again is set as a text field - eg....

Here is some code to generate code for raising and getting information about
custom errors in an application. Executing the GenerateXyzErrDefs procedure
generates the code.
<tblXyzError>
ErrorCodeOffset (Long Int) ErrorObjBaseName (Text(50))
ErrorDescription (Text(255))

I'm using an Access database to drive a web site and the
colors of various table backgrounds are stored in Access.
I want users of the Access database to be able to select
colors for the site, but my mappings between named colors,
HEX values and the Long Integer values used in Access are
not jibbing. Anyone have a nice list laying around?

I cut a mail function off the m'soft site. Has always worked. However,
I would like to include error codes returned by the sendmail Fn and
be able to understand what they mean. I had my first occasion to
experience a failure and got a code of 2??? Would like to know
just what that means.
Here's how I call the fn...
Result = SendMail((F!Subject), (F!To), (F!CC), (F!Attach),
(F!Message))

I have this program and I need to work on the test portion, which tests
if a Val is in the list. It returns false no matter what could you look
at the part and see what might need to be done to fix it. It reads in
the file and sorts out the files into the four different lists.

Hi everyone.
I just wanted to know if there was any way to use script to display a
list of methods linked to a particular object? The object I have in
mind is getBrowser(), and I can't seem to find any documentation online
with regards to it's methods.
Also, as I am learning, it would be nice to be able to know what
methods are available for a particular object/function, without
necessarily having to spend a while looking up an...

Hi,
I need to generate a fixed number of random integers that their
summary equals to certain values.
For example, the scenario can be:
simulate user hits (e.g. 20000) within a hour (3600 seconds).
the hits need to be random (e.g. five can be in second one, then 0
for seconds 2-4, another 10 at second 5 and so on)
I haven't really figure out the best way to do this.

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
