My.Application. Info.Version showing only 1.0.0.0

Hi all

Problem is, that My.Application. Info.Version shows only version 1.0.0.0
even if my application is version 1.0.0.0.

Even when published My.Application. Deployment.Curr entVersion.ToSt ring
is still 1.0.0.0
(real 1.0.0.2 or more)

Did you update it to version 1.0.0.2 or more via the Project properties ->
Application tab -Assembly Information button? When I do this I get the
version number I entered when I use My.Application. Info.Version.To String.

Hi all, is by now anybody using "User Interface Process (UIP) Application Block - Version 2.0"? http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnpag/html/uipab-ch01.asp I think this looks quite promising and am considering using it in a current project. However, I'd like to know in advance from people experienced with this application block, if there are pitfalls, as we're on a rather tight schedule.

Hi, When you call the method My.Application.Info.ProductName it returns you the name of the project. So if you use this method in a Class Library, it will return you the name of the Class Library. But is there a way, when using it in a Class Library, top return the name of the application that uses the Class Library? Thanks a lot in advance,

For a while now, my download box has stopped showing info on how big the file is and how long the download is. Eta comes up as Not known and the loading bar has disappeared. At first my first blame was AOL (as it's always them who's to blame for my internet failures ^_^) but then I figured it's probably a Windows Problem. Any ideas anyone? Running XP

I'm using VS2005 to build a C++ assembly. I set a Key File in the linker advanced options for the project so that the assembly would be strong named. I filled out the data in AssemblyInfo.cpp and built the project. But when I use explorer to view properties on the assembly, there is not a version tab as there is on my C# assemblies, so I cannot see the assembly version or file version or other assembly attributes. The only tabs that show...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
