OT Cross Post: Anyone using VSTS?

Hi all. Please forgive me for the off topic and cross post but I need some
feed back on the Team system. I am aware it is version 1 and with that in
mind I'm hesitant but the system sounds like it is a good idea if it really
works.

Regards,

Robert

I am not using it yet (I'll do in the next weeks) but FWIW, I think that MS
uses it internally. I suggest to read some VSTS blogs:

I have found a nice code to convert ordinal values to utf (code2utf() <http://in2.php.net/utf8_encode#34214> ). But, couldn't find the reverse of that. The uniord() function found at usernotes <http://in.php.net/ord#42778> is bit close, but it uses mbstring. Anyone have any idea to do it without using mbstring? Hi, I am here to request support from anyone that has idea's on cross-browser HTML (Mainly Firefox and IE). My personal website http://trammel.no-ip.info works fine on Firefox but IE decides to crush the left table (ingnoring that there is no breakable spaces). I tried using nowrap already and IE still forces a wrap of the text in the menu... thats why I tried using non-breaking spaces instead of normal ones... so there was nowhere to...

Here's what I want do: Have a main daemon which starts up several threads in a Boss-Queue structure. From those threads, I want them all to sit and watch a queue. Once an entry goes into the queue, grab it and run a system command. Now I want to make sure that system command doesn't hang forever, so I need some way to kill the command and have the worker thread go back to work waiting for another queue entry.

Hi, I am trying to figure out best testing tool for my project. I have narrowed down my requirements to two tools NUNIT and VSTS unit. But I have used neither and I have to use only one of them. Hence can someone who has used them before share his/her experience on them so that I can get a better idea and make a proper choice ? Any link or suggestions are also welcome. Thanks and Regards, Parag

Cross-Domain Interactor (CDI) StarGates 0.9 is released I believe that the post "JSON - Cross domain request" <http://groups.google.com/group/comp.lang.javascript/browse_frm/thread/06ba7973660bf018> was the 100th in this newsgroup asking about cross-domain interaction using ajaxoids. I posted this last week end in the MSDN forums. No luck there. Let's see what the experts here have to say:-)))) I have a rather convoluted project. The distributable will come in eight different flavors, each with its main program, libraries, datafiles, doco, etc. Each flavor will also have one or more standalone executables that can be called as tools from within the main program.

Dear reader, By opening an application I get always the main Access window with the closing cross in the above right corner. Is there a possibility to make this closing cross invisible? All the settings in the Start-up form under Tools are disabled but the closing cross in the above right corner is still visible.

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
