Is there a repository of themes and skins that could be downloaded from some
place?
Is there a visual designer for themes and skins allowing you to generate
App_Themes files?
Thanks in advance

I've begun trying to create some basic applications and controls and am left
wondering if Microsoft rushed this to market, is just anti-web standards, or
just wants it to be hard to create great sites. For instance:
When I create a template or region editing control. Why doesn't the region
or template pick up the attributes of the container I'm editing (and
preferably staying in the flow of the page)? Why does this matter? Well, if
I...

Hi there, I created a few custom controls, but after I move the tags into
theme folder, when I move to designer view, it give me either black/white or
nothing at all. I'm wondering if there is a way in custom control to enable
the designer theme support?
Appreciate any comment.

Hi All,
Let me explain to all of you my scenario.
I have some composite controls which i write from scratch.
I want to implement the themes and skins on these.
My theme and skin information is in the database. So i have to implement everything on it at runtime.
My second question is how to read theme files at runtime using refelection?
Can I add my theme and skin files as a part of assembly and then load them from assembly?

So try this. Create a new ASP.NET 2.0 website. Add a theme. Add a
skin to the theme. In your web.config, add the <pages theme="MyTheme"
styleSheetTheme="MyTheme" /tag under your system.web node.
Now, on a page, drag out any built in control, such as a label.
Style/Skin it. The control will take the style of the theme at both
runtime and in the designer. Cool!
Now, create a custom server control (inherits from WebControl)....

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies.
