Crystal reports licence with .net

Hi,

I have question regarding the licensing of crystal with .net. Basically I am
writing an application which uses three reports. Once completed I want
install the application on a small number of client PC’s. Would I need to
purchase a licence for this or can I continue to use the version of crystal I
am using at the moment.

I have read most of the articles regarding the licensing details but I just
wanted to be 100% sure before continuing.

Thanks in advance.

AFAIK, the license allows you to develop reports for and distribute reports
with your VB.NET products. This article makes a clear statement:

I need to generate invoices in either word or PDF format based on form values... is crystal reports a viable solution? Somebody told me that the version which comes with VS.Net Professional 2003 does not include a deployment licence? If so, where can I find a tutorial? If crystal reports does not come with a deployment licence, what other options/free components are available for this sort of thing? Thanks in advance,

I am currently using ASP.Net 2003 and will be upgrading to 2005 sometime in the near future. I have been having issues with using Crystal Reports that were included with .Net to handle my reporting needs. I was wondering if anybody has an opinion on how the new reportViewer control works in comparison to Crystal. One of the main problems I have been having with Crystal Reports is that they seem to load very slow no matter how small the...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
