Hai all,
I would make a ip block script for my site. The blocked ip are stored in a
file.
I have made the following script. Why does this not work. The file entries
must be stored in a array and after that i must check all the fields in the
array. Please help...

I wish to add this to a few sites to make access irksome (rather than
impossible of course) for users from certain IP address blocks. There are
plenty of ready-made scripts for specific IP addresses, but I can't find any
for doing this for a *range* of IP addresses. BTW, I can only use client
side scripting.
Any source of such a script appreciated.

Hi, is it possible to block all traffic with an IP address using .NET
Framework?
I wont to write a small program, that runs under win2000/XP and blocks all
traffic with the IP addresses that are in the black list. But looks like the
..NET Framework is the wrong place to look for solution, or am I wrong?

don't want to block the IP as it will block the whole cable net because
of the same IP... I want to do something which is unique. It might be
that I will check someone's hardware.information.... Please let me know

Hello. I recently found a rather lengthy list of IP addresses to block. They are from an another country and I'm in the US. However when I just uploaded the .htaccess, I found that I'd blocked myself from my website, too.
So I must be doing this wrong. Here is a sample of what I'm doing:

I was wondering if anyone knew if you could block ip addresses because at my school people hack beyond belief while i try to do work, and the windows firewall is off by default and we can't change any of that. So i was wondering if any knew of freeware software or anything really that help me block ip addresses?
