I've written a simple program in VB 6.0 to list all my MP3 files. To show
them on the screen I used an MSFlexGrid named TextGrid (which is not
associated with any table or text file) in the following code run by a
button (the files are all in the format "Artist - Name Of Song" in their
directories, which is why the code looks for a dash):
Private Sub Command1_Click()
Dim dashplace%, length%
For I% = 0 To File1.ListCount

I am trying to print a graphic file (tif) and also use the PrintPreview
control, the PageSetup control, and the Print dialog control. The code
attached is a concatination of two examples taken out of a Microsoft book,
"Visual Basic,Net Step by Step" in Chapter 18.
All but the bottom two subroutines will open a text file, and then allow me
to use the above controls, example 1. The bottom two subroutines will print
a graphic file, example...

I have created an order form that users javascript to create a new html
document when the customers clicks the "print page" button.
Once the new document has been created it then prints the document and
closes it with the following code:
<body onload="window.print(); window.close();">
This works correctly (or at least the way I expect it to work under MS
Internet Explorer, but it cuases Netscape to "crash"

I'm trying to use a hidden iframe to print the contents of one div
seamlessly. Currently I can create the hidden iframe, copy the
contents of the div to the iframe, and print it. I even have a method
that initially copies all the original page's styles onto the new
iframe to maintain look and feel.
So far things work, and the div (along with look and feel from styles)
are successfully copied to the iframe and printing just the hidden...

I am currently trying to do a multiple record mail merge through a query via a command button on a form. The query basically displays customers who have said yes to privacy. The user inputs a date into txtDate on frmDate and the clicks "View Queried Privacy Records" Once they click this it opens the query form frmPrivacy which then has a command button cmdMailmerge to perform the mail merge and print the records that result from that query. Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
