Hi, I am actively developing in VBA (Access), and need to create a tool to develop "boxplot" of Access data. Does VB .NET have drawing tools (e.g. the ability to draw custom lines from point A to point B through code) or are there libraries readily available that have this?

Has anybody seen any online examples of drawing on a form at runtime? In essence, this app plays video for a user. The user will be alle to choose from a line, pencil, etc (similar to what you see in mspaint.exe). The user will be able to select any of these tools and draw on the form and video onscreen. Thanks, Eric

I am attempting to create icons for controls I have created using VB.NET by using the System.Drawing.ToolboxBitmap attribute. I have managed to do this in C# by specifying the path to the *.ico file, but I have been unable to get any of the overloads to work in VB.NET. I would like to store the *.ico files in a *.resx file so that users do not need anything other than the *.dll, but at the moment I am just trying to get any of the overloads...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
