I have a db that is split and shared on the network. I gave the user a
custom menu to use.
We both use the same tables of course.
On my PC I can create new records using their menu on my PC, on there PC
they cant,
WHY ??? All users have admin rights and folders are shared with editing
allowed.
Any Suggestions ?

I'm relatively new to the .cs world. I would like to have some "shared" .cs
files, which several solutions can use. I don't want to place these in a
..dll, I simply want them included into various applications. I have tried
several methods, but most have failed. The most obvious way (I thought) was
to place the .cs files in a parent folder (maybe called "shared"), and then
simply drag-n-drop the files into the "Solution Explorer" (files...

I have ASP.NET application running on standalone (not part of the domain)
Windows 2003. I use forms authentication for my application. The problem I
have is that I need to create and read files on Windows domain network shared
drives and also on shared via Samba Unix drives, which is equivalent to
writing/reading to the workgroup computer. Please point, if possible, to
detailed step by step description of what needs to be done. Thank...

I'm an experienced foxpro, vba, delphi, sql programmer but this is something
new to me. I'm creating a pretty simple vb.net exe (scantextfiles.exe) that
will run on a server and read some text files into a database. But I also
need to create a stand alone function that can be called by
scantextfiles.exe. This stand alone function will use the MeasureString
method to get the length of some of the text in the text files. I'm not
putting that...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...
