Hello,
I have made a comercial web site with Visual Studio.NET and I am using Flash
and Javascript inside the pages. There is also a database that retrieves
information and displays it on a aspx page. This site is working well, but
every now and then when the Flash it clicked, instead of running the
Javascript the script is placed inside the Address bar. Is this a common
problem? Is there a work around? Also, I have heard from visitors that
sometimes when a link is clicked, that the page is directed to a totally
different web site. What would cause that? I am running this site from a
server in my office (Windows Server 2003). Any Help and Suggestions is
greatly appreciated.

Hi Chuck,
At first glance, this looks like a client-side problem with your
Flash/JavaScript. You might want to repost this to the Macromedia or
JavaScript news groups.

I have just run into a problem where I have a page that posts back to
itself to execute code, except when the page does the post back it
somehow executes code that is in our home page for the site. The only
reason I know that is happening is because I keep track of the pages
executed by the user to see how they have traversed the site. Has anyone
every seen anything like this before?

I thought this is more of an IE issue but i've had no joy on that group
perhaps somebody here will have a clue.
If i click a link to a web page embedded in Excel (97 OR 2000) i get the
standard error page displayed by IE (you know, the 'cannot find server or
dns error' page).
Turning off 'show friendly http error messages' alleviates this.
(Unfortunately this is the Windows default setting!)
Whats going on?!?!

When a user clicks on a linkbutton on a page, i would like to render a printer-friendly version of the asp.net page and download it as an html attachment to the browser. The code below works great, with a few exceptions:
1) IE displays the FIle Download dialog box twice. (You have to click the Open button twice)
2) the encoding of the page is set to Western European (Windows) versus UTF-8.
