Passing Parameters to an Event

Hi all,

What is the best way to pass parameters to an event?

I have a dataadapter.upd ate that fires, and I am capturing the RowUpdated
event. How do I pass some custom pamaeters into this event?

Thanks!

Hi Lucas Tam

You can do that in two ways,

1. By inheriting Dataadapter class to a class, and redifining your own event with all the custom parameters which you want and raise the event from the Dataadapter.upd ate event

2. Have some global variables and set some data, use them in the event

I hope, it will help you

I hava a Java Applet that produces a DTMF tone at a certain time of day. There are 4 parameters to the Applet, they are hour = Hour of triggered event 00~23 min = minute of triggered event 00~59 sec = Second of triggered event 00~59 tone = DTMF Tone to play 0~9 A~F # & * I now need to write a HTML/JavaScript web page that will enable me to pass these 4 parameters to the applet.

Hi everybody! Recently I was struggling with client/server issues in MS Access/PostgreSQL combination. Although Access is intuitive and easy to use desktop database solution, many problems appear when someone is trying to use it as front-end for real server database systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. One of these problems is regarding pass-through queries and parameters. I wanted to have all the code on client, while executing it on...

I'm a rookie at C# and OO so please don't laugh! I have a form (fclsTaxCalculator) that contains a text box (tboxZipCode) containing a zip code. The user can enter a zip code in the text box and click a button to determine whether the zip code is unique. If the zip code is not unique, another form/dialog is displayed (fclsLookup) - lookup form/dialog. The zip code and zipid are both passed to the lookup form/dialog by reference. I...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network.
