I think I have a somewhat unique situation here, so I thought I should
post it for the few poor souls who run across it and try to google it
like I did.
First of all, I was getting the following error when trying to hit one
of my pages...
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Invalid URI: There is an invalid sequence in the string.

I would like to generate an .mdi file from a C# program. Specifically I want
to avoid the need for the user to choose the file location and name which
just setting the printDocument.PrinterSettings.PrinterName to the MODI writer
does. I can find an object model for the viewer but not the printer driver.
Has anyone any ideas please?

At my company, we have a javascript function that uses document.write()
calls to create an INPUT tag with type set to "image". The image that
it is downloading comes from a dynamic image server, so it has lots of
stuff in the query string, including ampersands. The image that I'm
getting in my web page as a result of this call is not configured
correctly. After some investigation, I've found that the
document.write() call seems to be...

Hello there,
I have a report in an access database that always prints to the MS
Image Writer. I have to do this several times a day.
Does any of you know how to implement a VB code to print this report
to the MO Image Writer WITHOUT having to write the file name (and
choose the directory) on the MOIW window everytime I choose to print
this report?

I've run into the same bug described by shan_chennai in an earlier post

This occurs when the default printer is the "Microsoft Office Image Writer".
When the user does a print preview and selects the "Print" toolbar item, a

Hey all, weird problem. I cant seem to get a populated text field that
has a hyperlink to work when I output my access report to MS office
document image writer file. If I stick a 'label' type field on the
report and put a url in there and print as msodiw then the hyperlink
works. Anyone ever see this?
Also, even on the access report, the hyperlink doesnt work correctly.
WTH?

As a project requirement we need to convert word documents to tiff images. We have been using Microsoft Office Document Image Writer (MODI) for this puspose and doing absolutely well.
But now this process need to be automated. Whenever a document is converted to tiff MODI pops up a "Save as" dialog box which asks the path to save the converted tiff file.
Now is there a way this "Save as" dialog box can be suppressed and all the files be...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
