Dear all,
Acess 2000. Here is may problem : i want to extract the path of
my DB without thr name of the DB file, something like
D:\MyFolder\ I use this code but the Instrrev line is not
accepted : error (5) and (I try to translate) : incorect argument

Seems the mousewheel isn't controlled in earlier versions like A97 or
2000. So you can accidentally use the mousewheel to scroll to the next
record in an unbound form. And that can cause Access to hang-up, with
an unbound form.
I had this little popup box that was an alternative to editing text in
a memo field. And every now and then I'd forget about the mousewheel
problem and just habitually scrool as if editing in U-edit or
something....

I am using VS .Net 2003 and trying to convert a unicode data (vb .net
default string type?) to single byte using
BData = StrConv(UData, vbFromUnicode)
it is a method mentioned in
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;174923 but the
problem is vbFromUnicode is not supported in my version of vs .net, anyone
knows what is the equivalent function in vs .net 2003?

I am using StrConv to convert simplified chinese encoding string to a
traditional chinese coding string
strResult = StrConv(strSimplifiedChinese, VbStrConv.TraditionalChinese)
It works on one computer but it always return ??? in the other computer
all windows have installed the chinese fonts
Could anyone knows what's missing for the computer configuration?

Several weeks ago i started a topic with the same subject, however the
solutions provided was for using MS Outlook (fullblown version). I
finally found something that works directly with Outlook Express,
however i dont know how to attach any document using the below code. If
anybody knows how to do it, please help me to modify the below code and

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
