Redirect Output

Hi,

I've post some question last week about redirecting input and output
console. Then I've received some example code from H.K. Wagner to see how
redirecting works.
This example works fine when you stay in remain into DOS windows.
As soon as you want to execute within the windows another program, it
doesn't work.

I specify that the external program I want to control is NRCMD from Network
Registrar (CISCO dns-dhcp server). It should be the same behavior like ftp
command line.

I have tried to modify the code because two problems present themselves in
front of me :

Firstly:
I read the output stream until the end. (Peek() = -1)
The response is not inevitably complete in this stream, but if you try to
read after the end of stream you see that there are still something to read.
You can have two or three passes of this behavior until A what there is not
indeed more data.
Each method to gather data (Read, Readline, ...) after the reel end stream
make the program to wait indefinitely.

Secondly:
I would go to a procedure to read de stream data, but in all the cases this
procedure works one time. The second time, the program waits indefinitely.

I hope I was clear, if someone could help me, I would greatly appreciate.

Thanks,

Christophe.

I have a Java program, composed of a number of classes, that I've been running as a command line program. It logs everything it does and, as it logs each event, it also prints that line of info to the console. I would like to create a wrapper class to open a window, call my application, and redirect all the output to a TextField in the window. I know I could have the wrapper simply run a command line instance of the app (like "java...

Trying to do something fairly routine... drop output into a file to graph, but the following command at the bash command line: ising output produces a blinking cursor, an empty file named "output," and a program that runs forever. With no redirect, the output is normal. Below is the printf statement used to generate output. printf("B=%4.2f E=%8.4f m=%8.4f Cv=%5.2f \

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
