Detecting window.close in WebBrowser control

I have a situation where i have a form that contains a
webbrowser control. With this I was able to implement an
application that can browse websites. One particular
website i visited opens up another web page in a new
window and then closes it. I was able to control this
action by detecting the 'NewWindow' event and opening the
webpage in my own application.

Now the problem i have come across is that when the
webpage that was opened in a new window exits (i think it
is the result of a scripted 'window.close') the
webbrowser control that was displaying the webpage closes
and i am left with an empty form.

What I would like to do is detect the webbrowser control
closing and close the form it is contained in. The
WebBrowser control ignores the 'Quit' and 'OnQuit' events
which i thought could have been used to do this. The only
event i have been able to detect is the 'WindowClosing'
event, though this fires before the webbrowser control
actually closes. Has anyone come across this problem or
am i not using the webbrowser control properly? I would
greatly appreciate any feedback.

When using the WebBrowser control, is it possible to cause popup windows to appear within the WebBrowser control itself instead of a new window? This is what I've written in the NewWindow2 event, but I can't figure out how to get the popup to appear in the same browser window. In this code the user is presented with "Yes", "No" or "Cancel". Yes allows the popup to spawn a window, No should load the popup in the same window and Cancel...

Dear all. I am using an existing hodge-podge of an application that runs on top of an Access database. This application dials up customer equipment, handshakes then downloads/uploads various bits of information in the access database. The original application is designed for some poor sod to sit there for hours and manually do the necessary.

I am having 3 issues with the WebBrowser control which may all be related. The HTML for the page is the standard Weather Magnet from weather.com. The actual HTML is at the bottom of this page. Issue 1: I am opening a page in the control in the development environment and the document comes up correctly. But, when I click a link in the resulting document, an external IE instance comes up with the requested page. I have see reference to...

The window is some sort of screen saver that displays video. In case the user clicks the video, I want to close the...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
