Creating a custom VB.NET add-in with a dockable form

I would like to create a Visual Basic .NET add-in that has
a dockable form like the Solutions Explorer or the
Properties Window. I have seen classes like CommandBars
and others to add UI to the add-in, but I have not found a
way to make a custom dockable form in my add-in.

thanks in advance,

I can't seem to get my head around the Visual Studio's Deployment Projects: I want the user, at install-time, to be able to specify if they want a icon placed on the desktop or not (I'm trying to use Checkboxes(A)). Seemingly you can just place the Checkbox1Property Name into the User's Desktop Condition but that does not work. I actually saw an article that highlighted this process as "the way to do it", so I downloaded the source and...

Hi, I created a custom control, but I can't add an item property to it. I tried the code below, but when I click the property, it shows a list of Objects. I can't figure out how to have items to hold only integers. Even with Objects, they seem to be readonly. I can't assign values to them. <Bindable(True), Category("Data"), DefaultValue("Item")> Property () As ArrayList

Here is one thing I have the most difficulty with: I need a way to have a "master" custom table...

Hi: I've created a custom control - a grid that uses Infragistics to display some filters, the grid itself, and some buttons. Well, when using this control directly on WebForm, everything works really fine. No problems at all. But, when this control is placed inside a template of an Infragistics UltraWebTab control, somethings stranges happens: 1. When the WebForm is opened, an "Error Creating Control" message is displayed (for container...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
