Hi Mathew,
Will you give us some more information?
It sounds stupid, because you ask this question here, but are you using the
VB.net IDE to manage your pages?
Sometimes people ask here questions and don't use the VB.net language at
all, but are using VB.script or something.

Maybe he is talking about an ASP.NET document or something like this. IMHO
the question is in no way related to VB.NET programming.

Herfried,
Yes maybe, but maybe he wants to open a new webform
or catch the vb.net language button event to change a picture in his webform
control by using the image sentences where you are so terrific in.

Hello there, I am at my wit's end ! I have used the following script succesfully to upload an image to my web space. But what I really want to be able to do is to update an existing record in a table in MySQL with the path & filename to the image. I have successfully uploaded and performed an update query on the database, but the problem I have is I cannot retain the primary key field in a variable which is then used in a SQL update...

I am trying to develop an app where: the same file, in the same place, will be uploaded, and then processed. Everything I can find about uploading a file, uses a form that requires the user to either manually enter the path and file name, or to browse for the file. I do not want that. Ideally, I want the user to click on a link, and the server side php app does the rest. Again, the file always has the same name, and is in the same place....

I want to have a separate button which invokes the "browse" button on an input type=file. In internet explorer the following code works ok, in firefox nothing happens. All I do is call click() for the input control. Do you know how to make this work in firefox? Thanks

am replacing the default "Browse..." button for input type=file. This works fine except that the form will only submit after the SUBMIT button is clicked twice. Any ideas on why this is happening or a workaround? I'm testing on IE Thanks! <html> <head></head> <body> <form name="test_form" method="post" action="test.jsp">

The following test page is intended to allow the user to choose an image file, and then display it. It works as expected in Safari 3.1.1, FF 2.0.0.14 (Mac), and IE7 (XP). But, it fails in FF 2.0.0.14 (Win-XP) - the image doesn't appear. The error console shows no errors and Page Info, under the media tab, shows no loaded image (in contrast to FF Mac which shows the image). The images I select are all jpegs, btw.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
