How do I create a wizard? I know in excel (visual basic
applications) the multipage has a style setting which
makes the tabs disappear, but how is it done in vb.net?
Is there a wizard creater I could download. I seen one on
C++.

Hi yup,

There's a wonderful bunch of people at Crownwood Consulting Ltd
(http://www.dotnetmagic.com/) who have written, amongst many other tasty GUI
goodies, a Wizard Control and Wizard Dialogue.

Have fun with it. :-)

Regards,
Fergus

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the best newsgroup for this post, but I know there will be many people who do know the answer. In Visual Studio.NET 2002, when you installed the DirectX 9 SDK it created a set of VS.NET AppWizards that would generate C#, etc, applications centered around the DirectX system. But in 2003 no such wizards are created. Is there an update for these or something that would let me use the DirectX 9 wizards without...

Hello all, I was hoping someone might know where, if at all, you can download the Additional Wizards for MS Access 2000 (VB Help, Converting Macros to VBA, etc.) and Excel 2000. I didn't install them when I originally installed Access and Excel and have misplaced the CD-ROM. Any help with this would be appreciated. regards and thanks Brendan.

I am using MS-Office2000. When I use MSAccess, the wizards do not work. I get the message that they are not installed or are turned off. I have installed all wizards and none appear as disabled. I have removed / reinstalled etc. but the problem persists. I cannot make mailing lists etc. Any ideas?

Hi all, I've just upgraded to Access 2000 and it seems that all the wizards do not work. I get error messages saying that they are not installed. I've already done the following: 1. Uninstalled and re-installed 2. Checked for presence of acwzmain.mde and acwztool.mde 3. re-registered the dao files

Any way to get to the source code of the wizards ? I did some checking/surfing and it seems they locked them since a97. But I also saw this at a MS KB-article: "Note, in the retail version of A2000 you can't see the wiz-code." Which leads me to believe you can see them somewhere else ? I have the developer toolkit, and MSDN etc. Is there someway of getting to the innards of the wizards ? /jim

When I moved my Access 2000 program to Win XP Home, none of the wizards are working. Anyone know why? Since I know it will come up (at least it was the first question Microsoft asked) I do have a legal version of Access 2000 and yes it is registered with MS. All was working just fine under W98. Any help is always appreciated.

How to create a database connection without using wizards Introduction I've seen a lot of questions on the net about getting data from, and saving data to databases. Here's a little insight how to do that using .NET code. I prefer using code instead of wizards, because you are completely in charge of connections. This article is written for both Visual Basic.NET 2005 and C# 2005 and will discuss how to use an MS Sql database. OleDB works...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
