I need to create a relationship between a local table and tables on a
linked server. I used the design table wizard and selected the
relationship property wizard. In the reslationship property wizard,
the tables that I need to get the keys from in the linked server do not
show up. Is there a way to do this, or I simply don't have enough
permission to tables in the linked server. On the local server, the
Security tab of linked server...

Hi, I am trying to add a webservice.I provide a reference to the wsdl file on
the server. It works fine when I compile the code on my machine. But on the
server, I get the above error with the same compiled code. UNDERLYING
CONNECTION WAS CLOSED.REMOTE NAME COULD NOT BE RESOLVED. I read some of the
articles which indicate a problem with the proxy server but our client does
not have any proxy server. Their server is behind a firewall...

VB .NET 2003, Pocket PC 2003, CF 1.0 SP 2
Only when I use a proxy server, I'm getting this error when attempting to
write data to a Stream object from an HTTPWebRequest object.
(System.IO.Stream.Write() raises the exception):"An existing connection was
forcibly closed by the remote host". The error only happens with fairly
large amounts of data (around 24,500 bytes).
Here is ToString() of the exception object raised:

Hi,
We are using ASP.Net 2005 and SQL Server 2005. We are storing sessions in
the database. From time to time we get the following exception in the
application while the ASP.Net session tries accessing the database. This also
happens from time to time when our application is accessing the database. To
make the posting brief, I am just putting part of the exception.
Any ideas why this might be happening? Our web application is behind F5...

Using a SQL Login account to attempt to run based LDAP query against Active Directory on a Domain Controller.
Originally used ADSI and pulled from Exchange Server AD. New network (multiple domains and different user groups) demanded ADSDSOObject query which included passing account User/Pass from an account on the Domain Controller (with limited permissions). This functioned.
New single domain is now in place. An instance of VMWare based...

The SQL Server (Dell PE1950, 8GB ram, Quad Xeon 2.5G+) is...

Hi,
I'm trying to implement streaming over http and got stuck with a problem trying to send chunks of data using the .Net NetworkStream object.
All works fine as long as I send the entire data in one invocation to the NetworkStream, like:
_stream.Write(buffer, 0, buffer.Length)
But if i try:

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...
