Hi folks - i've got a windows 2000 server (SP3) i've run the IIS
lockdown tool on it and set for dynamic websites - all the static
pages within the site work ok but an ASP section has been put in which
now keeps giving me the error below :
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'
General error Unable to open
registry key 'Temporary (volatile) Jet DSN for process 0x404 Thread
0x6ac DBC 0xbd7014 Jet'.

For some reason I am getting an error when trying to open a recordset on an
Access database on my Win2K3 machine from my INDEX.ASP page, but the same
code accesses the database fine when coming from the GLOBAL.ASA page. I'm
using a DSN to connect to the database.
The error I'm getting is:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'
Data source name not found and no

Hi, I have windows 2000 server with IIS and I program ASP.
I use the string: "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0; Data
Source=basedatos.mdb;" to data base Access and it always works ok.
But I installed the Panda BusinesSecure Antivirus and since then I have had
a lot of problems.
First, windows didn't start in normal way, I only could start in Security
Mode, so I tried uninstall Panda Antivirus but in security mode I couldn't

what I've done is simply doing a backup of my db and moving the asp

I have VStudio2005, SQLServer 2005 dev edition loaded on a windowsXP Pro
machine.
I installed it ok. I just attempted to load the Personal Web Site Starter
Kit (I downloaded off Microsoft's site) to use with VStudio 2005 --
Installing it from the MS site failed without any error messages. When I
used VSTudio to open, it loaded ok, but when I went to view the
default.aspx page I got this error:

My machine is running windows 2000 service pack 4. I have an application i am developing on VB6 sp5, MDAC 2.8.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
