Sql Server Error 80004005

1 New Member
My machine is running windows 2000 service pack 4. I have an application i am developing on VB6 sp5, MDAC 2.8.

I upgraded my SQL SERVER 2000 to SQL SERVER 2005 EXPRESS edition. I then uninstalled SQL 2000 on my machine. After i did this i started expiriencing a a 'Run time error '-2147467259( 80004005): Connection failure'

on returning a recordset from the database for certain forms..

I am using SQL OLEDB Provider to connect to SQL2005. When i use this code on another SQL 2000 server there are no problems at all.

Can anyone halp me please.

Hi I'm a non IT professional experimenting with web develepment on my PC. I have installed Visual Interdev 6 and downloaded SQL server 2000 to learn how to develop web application on my PC running Win XP Pro. I was previously developing using Frontpage 2002 and IIS 5.0 with some success but wanted to have a bash with Sql Server and Interdev. I have installed SQL Server 2000 and have got it running OK (I think).

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
