Hi,
we had a strange problem with DB2 8.2 Enterprise Edition on Windows
2003 (Standard) Server.
We installed DB2 8.2 (8.1.7) directly on a naked W2K3 system (no
migration, no update -> no leftovers from an older version on the
system).
After that, we had to change the IP address of the system. Same

I deploy be-fe solutions to clients, and provide them with updates as a web
link to the Fe file, wrapped in an installer.
I can generally simulate their shares, if they are using a mapped drive.
However if they are not using mapped drives, and are using their own domain
server address, then I cannot simulate that so easy.
Can i manually change the address where the linked table objects point,
before deployment.?
(I cant do it with a...

Hi,
Can anyone help. This is really doing my nut in. 3 years ASP exp. and
now doing .DOT which is a step in the wrong direction.
Basically I am left with the code of a guy who has left. When I click a
button on a pop-up window the javascript for that button click does a
'button.form.submit'. On the Server side there is a Button click event
for this button, but for some reason it no longer fires. It worked fine
before and everything...

Hi,
I'm experimenting with a basic socket program(from a book), and both
the client and server programs are on my computer. In both programs,
I call socket.gethostname(), but I discovered that when I am connected
to the internet, both the client and server hang and nothing happens.
I discovered that the hostname of my computer automatically changes to
that of my isp when I'm connected to the internet, and presumably the
server program...

The problem is that after reducing MSDTC security to "No Authentication", it mostly seems to work correctly, except that after a brief period of inactivity (a few minutes), the first attempt to use DTC fails, but subsequent attempts are successful, until inactivity again.
The original environment was a single machine with SQL Server installed and a service on another machine that would connect to the same SQL Server but utilizing different...

I have a test network consisting of four servers running windows 2003 server R2 SP2. I have set up a domain which functioned correctly for about a day and a half until the other servers decided they can no longer connect to the domain controller. Ping resolves the domain controllers name to the correct ip nslookup finds the ip but can not resolve the name.
When I attempt to log on to a machine on the domain it takes around twenty minutes...

Using the mail() function, I can easily change the From address that
appears in an email. But how do I change the From that gets sent in the
SMTP conversation, which results in the address that appears in the
envelope's Return-path: header? That value currently is the
account_name@machine_name, but I don't want to give away my Linux account
name with every single email.

My requirement is to change the IP Address of local system programatically using .net.
IP Address should change to 10.1.2.100, subnet mask = 255.255.255.0, default gateway=10.1.2.1
I have created a small C# Console application in Visual Studio 2005 which change the IP address of the local system. I execute the following batch file using Process.Start("ipchange1.bat");
Content of batch file is:
set path=c:\Windows\System32

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
