HI Guys. I hope you can help me out! I'm writting a small app for my Intranet that allows me to see basic information aount user accounts. Included in that information is disk quota data such as QuotaLimit, QuotaUsed and such. If the quota info is from a disk local to my IIS server, such as it's drive C. Everything works fine. However, this is where the fun starts!

I am having problems using VB.Net's Management base object on a machine hosting Windows Server 2003. I am trying to set file permissions from a Windows Service. These files may be loacted on a local machine or somewhere on the network. I use the Management Base Object to set these permissions which works perfectly when the windows service is running on an XP machine. However, when the service is running on a Windows Server 2003 machine I...

Hi, Lacking javascript knowledge, I just realized why my project has a bug. I am using ASP to loop through a set of records while it creates URLs with a querystring that has a single value pair. This URL needs to open in a floating window if clicked. (this is for an administrator and so opening a small floater gives them more efficient access to the data that will be displayed). I now understand that because the ASP executes first, that...

Haw anyone seen the following error under the z/OS DB2 Administration Server? BPXF024I (DASUSER) CEE0454S The message number 9512 could not be 102 found for facility ID CLB. (It appears "102" in the above message is a sequential counter. As you can see I get this a lot.) I've traced DAS when it received the error. (Which is not accompanied by any error on the Admin Server error log.)

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
