Blanks in ColumnNames causes ODBC-Error

I use Blanks in ColumnNames ( I know that this isn´t very good, but a
lot of code and querys had to be changed if I would remove all blanks
in all columnnames).
When I link this tables with ODBC in my ACC97 - project, some of the
tables causes an ODBC-Error.

Are there possibilities to workaround this error?

Thanks, Andreas Lauffer, easySoft. GmbH, Germany

I think enclose the column name in quotes like

table."col umn"

I know this is sorta reposting but I want to simplify the issue a bit. Take the following script: function replacemain(s){ var x = document.images; var y = document.images; var pictemp = x.src; x.src = y.src; y.src = pictemp; }

Hi all. I have an application that receives a message from a socket in an array from a certain size. As the array size may be longer that the message received, the end of the array has blank characters. I use the System.Text.Encoding.ASCII.GetString method to convert to string and insert in a database. The problem is that in the database the blanks are inserted as well. How can I remove the blanks before inserting in the database?

Hi, When trying to wrap C code using Pyrex, I encountered a strange problem with a piece of pure Python code. I tried to isolate the problem. The following code causes Pyrex to generate C code which gcc cannot compile: class Axis: axtype = "unknown type of axis" def __init__(self):

I have a RichTextBox in which I'd like blanks to appear different from nothing. Imagine a file which does not fill up the RTB. You can't tell how many, if any, blanks might follow the last visible, i.e. non-whitespace, character. I thought that I could set the BackColor of the RTB to LightGray and then the blanks would show up as white. But instead the characters show up on a LightGray background and the blanks, of course, show up as...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
