SQL Log & data file timestamps not changing

1 New Member
Hello,
I'm noticing that the last modified timestamps on our log & data files are not changing inspite of daily activity on the databases.

We're running SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition SP4. (Product version: 8.00.2039 (SP4) on Window 2003 Standard SP1

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, I can't get a py2exe compiled app to run with numarray (numarray-0.5.win32- py2.2). Also wxPythonWIN32-2.3.3.1-Py22 and ActivePython-2.2.1-222. In the sample below, commenting out "import numarray" allows the exe to run. Left in, I get "4.exe has generated errors" etc. I'm going around and around and there isn't much on Google. py2exe output is last.

A programmer developed an AMP (Apache/MySQL/PHP) application for me. When he was done, he sent me the PHP files and the MySQL dump file. Now, when I connect to the application on my LAN using http://192.168.1.106/~mlh/credifree/index.php the AMP app still thinks the data resides somewhere else. It runs fine - as long as I leave my LAN's external internet connection up. But if I unplug my LAN from the world, my app locks up. Before I...

Hi NG, I needed some information about using SQL Timestamps for resolving concurrency errors. I bought the book: Pragmatic ADO.NET to aid me in this endeavor. Some people have asked me if I found a book. This posting is just to thank the people who responded. There is no need to respond further to this posting. Cheers,

My data may contain the characters < ,&, and > The system I'm sending them to wants them to be changed to < & and > respectivily. So I had gone into the data and was changing them over in the code. However when they hit the serializer I end up with < & and > How can I prevent the serializer from changing this incorrectly?

A lot of Firefox users I know, says they have problems with validation where the ampersand sign has to be written as & to be valid. I don't have Firefox my self and don't wont to install it only because of this, so I hope some of you gurus can enlighten me with this :) In what circumstances can the "&" in the source code be involuntary changed to "&" by a browser when or other software, when editing and uploading the file to the web...

Hi all, I was hoping to get some clarification on a couple of questions I have: 1) When should htmlspecial characters be used? As a general rule should it be used for text that may contain special characters that is going to be rendered in the browser (ie: text that isn't in tags)? I've got a javascript onclick handler whose code includes an ampersand and the HTML validator complains. I don't know if I should escape the ampersand, or...

Hello all, This is my first attempt at an application, so kid gloves are appreciated. I need to make a very simple form that only has a few elements. One is TraceCode - a text field that is populated when a user scans a label. The other is ScanDate - a date/time field that should equal the date/time of the scan (e.g. 7/31/2006 5:00:00 AM).

Hello everyone, I've been working on a simple editor myself and I seem to be having some problems with ncurses or so. I have been debugging this program quite a lot trying to detect where the bug is hiding. If you try to compile it gcc -o rosy rosy.cpp -lncurses and run it with an input file, the delete and backspace characters function great however when you start pressing keys like, right left or so to navigate through the file, it...

All, Just a quick question. I want to be able to have a data structure that organizes data (timestamps I'm working with) sequentially, so that i can easily retrieve the first x amount of timeStamps without iterating over a list. My thought was to use a binary tree, am i overthinking the problem to try and implement this structure inside of python? I was also hoping this would already be done for me. Regards,

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
